Alice De Muller
Mentor - Fashion Startups

Area of Expertise: In house mentor for Fashion startups
We have watched Alice's career progress since 2012 when we first met her at a TechCity event in London.
Alice is keen to share her own startup journey with others either venturing out in the fashion space or just facing challenges.
Alice de Muller was a writer and journalist for many years focused on playwriting and fiction (‘A play of some wit and style… Memorable stuff indeed’ The Independent’ ‘A sparkling new talent’ The Express).
She was also the editor of entrepreneurial publication The Good Web Guide, whilst freelancing for Conde Nast publication Women’s Wear Daily, which is where she came up with the idea for Love Alice, a start-up focused on keeping beautiful clothes in rotation by offering a solution to second-hand sellers for their excess stock and marrying it with a focus on high-end customer service. The business model of Love Alice differs hugely from the incumbent marketplace norm as the stock is owned outright and provides much needed cash flow for retailers and sellers by offering a fun, young, and fresh e-commerce platform to buy second hand clothing. The brand also has its headquarters and a shop located in the much publicised town of Bruton, Somerset.
